We offer seasonal classes to help DIY gardeners learn the skills that will elevate their landscape. Favorite workshops include: Cut & Create Floral Arrangements, Houseplants 101, Wreath Making Class, Create Your Own Porch Pot, and Kids Camp - A Day on the Farm.
Workshops are a great group activity for girls’ nights, family activities, bachelorette parties, and group outings. Contact us if you’re interested in scheduling a private workshop for your group.

Come learn about raised bed gardening! We’ll show you how we choose plants that work well together in raised beds, and we’ll demonstrate as we plant in beds here at the farm.

Our friends from The Native Plant Society of New Jersey will be at the garden center from from 9-5 pm on June 1st to provide educational talks and resources. Talks are 10 to 15-minutes and begin at 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 2:30 pm.

Cut & Creates are back! A Farmside favorite, Cut & Creates start with a tour of our cut flower fields where you’ll select your very own stems for a custom bouquet. Our gardeners will work with you to show you how to select stems for long-lasting blooms. Then, you’ll learn how to expertly arrange cut flowers in a stunning bouquet!

Herb Culinary Class
Are you curious about how you can maximize your herb harvest this year? Have you wondered about the best ways to preserve herbs? Do you have a favorite herb inspired recipe you’d like to share? Join us for our Herb Culinary Class on July 7! Enjoy a sampling of herb-inspired cocktails and appetizers while you learn the best ways to grow, harvest, preserve, and store herbs for cooking! During this exciting experience you’ll get the opportunity to pair up with one of Farmside Gardens knowledgeable staff members and peruse the garden center as you learn all there is to know about starting your very own cut flower garden.

All Things Earth day
Join us as we celebrate our love for planet earth on earth day! During this workshop we will dig into plant landscape, design, pruning, and other plant maintenance. We will highlight different perennials and offer helpful advice on creating a landscape that will capture both an interest and will offer beauty year round.
Class cost is $55.
